THIS GUIDE ONLY WORKS IF YOUR STEAM ACCOUNT OWNS AEW: FF.

STEP ONE
Download the latest release of DepotDownloader and extract it anywhere on your PC.

STEP TWO:
In the folder where DepotDownloader.dll is, in the Windows Explorer address bar, clear it and type "cmd" and Enter to open a command prompt in that folder. 

STEP THREE:
In the command prompt, paste this command.

dotnet DepotDownloader.dll -app 1913210 -depot 1913211 -manifest 8552205605788528235 -username YOURUSERNAMEHERE

Replace YOURUSERNAMEHERE with your STEAM LOGIN name, not your Profile Display name.

STEP FOUR:
DepotDownloader will log in to steam and then ask for your password. Enter it. Next, if you have SteamGuard enabled, it will ask you to approve the sign in on your SteamGuard device.

STEP FIVE:
The Depot will begin downloading. It has the tendency to fail a lot, so when it does, just re-enter the command and it will pick up where it left off.

Once complete, you can find the game files in the same folder as DepotDownloader, in the folder  depots/1913210

You can now copy all these downloaded Game Files into the directory of your original game, overwriting them completely and restoring 1.05.


When you launch the game, it will tell you that your save file is outdated. Ignore this and press Yes to continue playing, my Save File still worked. If you're scared, back up the save files first [%localappdata%/AEWFightForever/Saved/SaveGames] and then try launching the game.

Keep Auto-Update Disabled on Steam for AEW: Fight Forever.
