I wanted my own planet, so I made one. Welcome to the jungles of Venus.

Get tired of landing on a new planet only to find the filthy humans have already been there and dumped garbage all over it? Need a new, untamed world to explore? Me too, but apparently Beth forgot to include them, so I "made" one.
I figured Venus was pretty much unused, so I terraformed it. Mostly. I gave it a breathable, if thick, atmosphere, a magnetosphere, dropped the temperature to a balmy 35 degrees, and dumped a LOT of vegetation on it. Well, on most of it. There are two biomes, tropical jungle and volcanic. No animals yet, I haven't quite figured that out, but when I do you'll get dinosaurs. Or the local equivalent. But NO human presence. No random buildings, no settlements, nothing.
The good:

There are limits right now to what you can change. Hopefully as the tools improve and we learn what all the unknown data is things can be improved.
The ESM file is "au_Venus.esm", not "Terraformed Venus.esm". Make sure you get it right in plugins.txt.

The good:
- Breathable atmosphere. No space suit required if the weather is clear.
- I don't remember if the water is safe, but considering I can't figure out how to add lakes or oceans you'll be okay.
- Jungle and volcanic biomes. Mostly jungle.
- Resources are still there. They are easier to find in the volcanic areas.
- No human presence. At all. (I did try and put a city on it as an experiment, it didn't work.)
- I didn't touch space (I admit I tried, I wanted all the asteroids gone forever), so the main quest with the satellite should be unaffected.
The bad:
- It still looks the same from space. You won't be able to look at the terrain and pick a landing spot. You might if you have resource scanning turned on, I haven't actually checked.
- No animals yet, no matter what the scans say. I'm not even sure if you can scan the plants. But I'm planning on dinosaurs eventually.
- The sky is still orange during the day. Which lasts forever. But ya know, it's kinda pretty.
- The trees are also mostly orange. I used a mod called Green Palm Trees for the screenshot. I recommend it.
- Terrible weather. No seriously, terrible. If it's raining you'll need a space suit, because the rain is boiling hot. And it's a jungle, it rains a lot. Hey, it's Venus, it's an oven at the best of times.
